Intentional Talk
“The inner speech, your thoughts, can cause you to be rich or poor, loved or unloved,
happy or unhappy, attractive or unattractive, powerful or weak.”
~ Ralph Charell
Intentional Talk is about developing awareness and choice in all aspects of your life, beginning with how you talk to yourself.
Our thoughts shape our lives, and for many of us, those thoughts have created a personal story full of negativity, self-doubt, regret and disappointment. What I find with my clients is that they are ready to write a new story for themselves. They recognize that if they keep making the same choices (intentionally or not), they are not going to get where they want to go, or be who they want to be.
The old story keeps them looped into the past, which is often rampant with defeating self-talk. So they’re looking for a new vocabulary to express who they are now and who they are becoming.
That’s where Intentional Talk comes in. Through workshops, articles and other offerings, I work with people in a wide variety of circumstances, and together we explore common themes: learning to trust, expressing truth and honoring ourselves with nourishing, joyful soul food.
“If you hear a voice within you saying, You are not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”
~ Vincent Van Gogh
Our language – especially the way to we talk to and about ourselves – has a profound impact on our ability to trust, speak the truth and be joyful. So much negativity is learned, optional and habitual!
The programs of Intentional Talk help you write a new story and
support you as you live into your truth.
“If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It’s very important to be aware of them every time they come up.”
~ Deepak Chopra
